1. What is EZBUZZ?

EZBUZZ is a mobile and PC communication tool that lets you share your ideas, interests, pictures or anything under the group, between friends and members or new members via text messaging. Create your own groups and invite your friends! Use EZBUZZ to post messages by mobile to all the members in your group!

2. Who can use EZBUZZ?

Anyone who is 18 years old and above can create their own groups and join any group in EZBUZZ. If you are under 18 years old, you can still join EZBUZZ as long as you are 13 years old and accompanied by your legal guardian. You must also understand the terms and conditions of the service when signing up with EZBUZZ. Click here for terms and conditions.

3. What is a Groupname?

A Groupname is the name of a group assigned by its moderator. Groupnames are limited to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 alpha numeric characters.

4. What is a Nickname?

A Nickname, also known as alias or handle, is your identity in EZBUZZ. You choose your nickname when you first register in EZBUZZ, either by creating a new group or joining a friend's group. You then use the same nickname for each group you join. It is recommended that you use a nickname instead of your real name. A nickname is limited to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 alpha numeric characters.

5. Who should I invite into my group?

You can invite anyone in your group as long as they have a valid Philippines mobile phone from the carriers that support EZBUZZ.

6. How can I create groups in EZBUZZ?

You can create a group by texting the following into your phone: BUZZ REG <groupname> <yournickname> and send to 2948. EX. BUZZ REG SOCCERPH ARIS Best fun soccer team in Manila!

7. How can I join a group in EZBUZZ?

You can join a group by texting the following into your phone: BUZZ JOIN <groupname> <yournickname> <msg> and send to 2948. EX. BUZZ JOIN SOCCERPH MIGUEL COUNT ME IN!

8. How can I invite a friend into a group?

You can invite your friends and family to your group via your mobile phone. You also can invite multiple friends in one message. The message can be up to 160 characters. Text the following into your phone: BUZZ INVITE <groupname> <friendmobile#1> <friendmobile#2> <msg> and send to 2948. EX: BUZZ INVITE SOCCERPH 092xxxxxxxx 092xxxxxxxx Hey! Its Miguel. Join our soccer team. This way is really handy!

9. How can I send an SMS message to all members in a group?

You can post a new message via your mobile phone. Text the following into your phone: BUZZ POST <groupname> <msg> and send to 2948. EX: BUZZ POST SOCCERPH Lets have a game on this Sunday 10am!
You can only send messages to a group you are a member of. To send a message to a new group, please join the group first.

10. How can I send a private message in a group?

You can send a private message to a group member if you know his/her mobile phone number or nickname. Text the following into your phone: BUZZ PPOST <groupname> <memberph#/nick> <msg> and send to 2948. EX: BUZZ PPOST SOCCERPH ARIS I wanna bring 3 more other friends. Do you think they can play, too?

11. How can I reply to a message I received?

You can reply to a message from your group just by using the POST command. Text the following into your phone: BUZZ POST <groupname> <msg> and send to 2948 EX: BUZZ POST SOCCERPH Ok, I am coming. Who else will come?

12. How can I unsubscribe from a group?

You can unsubscribe from a group by texting the following into your phone: BUZZ OFF <groupname> and send to 2948.

13. How can a group moderator ban a certain member from the group?

A group moderator can ban a member from his/her group. Text the following into your phone: BUZZ BAN <groupname> <memberph#/nick> and send to 2948.

14. How can a group moderator allow a certain member to rejoin a group?

A group moderator can allow a member to rejoin his/her group. Text the following into your phone: BUZZ ALLOW <groupname> <memberph#/nick> and send to 2948.

15. How can a group moderator control members' posted messages?

A group moderator can preview and control a member's message before it is sent to all other members. A group moderator also can set this function to ON or OFF.

Function OFF: Text BUZZ APPROVAL NO <groupname> to 2948

16. How can I get help from EZBUZZ?

17. How do I get my password to login to my EZBUZZ webpage?

You can get your password by mobile. Text the following into your phone: BUZZ PASSWORD and send to 2948.
You will get an SMS with your nickname and your new password. For security reasons you will be given a new password each time you use the PASSWORD command.

18. I forgot my nickname. How do I find out what it is?

You can get your nickname by mobile. Text the following into your phone: BUZZ PASSWORD and send to 2948.
You will get an SMS with your nickname and your new password. For security reasons you will be given a new password each time you use the PASSWORD command.

19. How do I get a list of the groups I belong to?

You can see which groups you belong to by logging in to your account on the EZBUZZ Webpage, using your mobile phone number and password. You can also see group members and recent posts for each group.

20. How much are the fees for the service?

You will be charged P15 per month for joining a group. Each SMS text will be charged P2.50. * Some commands are FREE. Please check the rate below.

23. How many characters are allowed for one SMS?

From the guidelines set by the carriers, the maximum number of characters allowed in messages sent is 160, and for messages received it is 460.

24. Do I need to install anything on my mobile phone to use EZBUZZ?

No installations are needed to use the service. The minimum requirement is that you are on a GSM network and you are holding a SMS capable handset in the Philippines.

25. Can anyone create a group in EZBUZZ?

Yes. By texting BUZZ REG you will be able to create your own group. You will also be the group moderator and will be allocated 30 FREE messages to send to your group, and have management rights. For more information text HELP MODERATOR to 2948.

26. How much will it cost me?

Group members are charged P15 per month only to receive 30 messages. To send a message to the group, members are charged P2.50 per message sent to the group. Moderators, are also charged P15 per month to receive 30 messages from the group .As an added incentive, we are giving moderators FREE 30 messages to send to their group.

27. How do I join an existing group?

To join an existing group in EZBUZZ, simply text JOIN and send to 2948. Once you have the confirmation message, you will be able to receive messages from the group.

28. What about spam messages? I do not want to receive spam.

Moderators are given management rights in the group. If you are the moderator, you have the power to approve or disapprove messages before they are sent out to your whole group. Moderators are not charged for this. Also, if proven to be at fault, a member can be banned by the moderator from the group. Spam and offensive content can practically be avoided with this feature.

29. How many members can join a group? Will I be charged for sending group messages depending on how many people are in my group?

There is absolutely no limit to how many people can be in your group. You will be charged the same, P2.50 for members, FREE for moderators, no matter how many members are in your group.

30. Can I join more than one group in EZBUZZ? If so, how much will it cost me and how many messages will be allocated to me?

Yes you can. It costs P15 per group per month. You will also have an allocation of 30 messages per group that you join.

31. I cannot seem to send a message to the group. What is the syntax?

To send a message to the whole group, simply text POST and send to 2948. You will be charged P2.50 only to send this message to the whole group, FREE if you are the moderator of the group.

32. Will this work on all cellular networks?

Yes, no matter what network you are on, you will receive group messages (SMART,GLOBE, SUN)

33. My subscription has expired. What do I do?

Once you have reached the 30 message allocation per group, you are prompted to renew your subscription by texting BUZZ RENEW to 2948. This will renew your subscription to the group. If you have more than one group, you will receive two different reminders and will need to renew them separately.

34. I need help with other keywords where can I see a list?
